Vice Premier Leaves for Visit to Japan

Vice Premier Wu Yi left Beijing Tuesday morning to attend the China Day held in Aichi Expo 2005 and pay a visit to Japan at the invitation of the Japanese government.  

Wu is expected to exchange views with the Japanese leaders on issues of common concern during the visit that will run through May 24, sources with the Foreign Ministry said.

 

Following her Japan visit, Wu will visit Mongolia from May 24 to 26.
