Russian Spacemen Complete Works in Outer Space
Experts of the Russian Mission Control have congratulated Russian cosmonauts Valery Korzun and Sergei Treshchev on a successful completion of works in the outer space.

The space walk took the spacemen 5 hours 22 minutes instead of 6 hours. The spacemen installed two new radio aerials on the space station, mounted anti-meteorite screens on the Russian Zvezda-module and prepared the station for the docking with the cargo space vehicle scheduled for September 22nd, 2002.

"A malfunction in a valve of the system responsible for pressure equalisation between the spaceship and the lock- chamber where the spacemen were account for the delay that occurred during the space walk," said cosmonaut Alexander Alexandrov, the head of the test flight service. All defects were repaired.
