Two models winning the China Final of the 2002 World Best Model Competition which concluded Wednesday in this capital of east China's Jiangsu Province will attend the world final, which is to be held in December in Istanbul, Turkey.
Ji Huanbo and Liu Anan, champions of the men's and women's contests respectively, were chosen out of a total of 49 models qualified for the China Final. Both of them are from Liaoning Province in northeast China.
Experiences and courage will help create more Chinese super models although those participating the China Final are still inexperienced and nervous, said Erkan Ozerman, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the World Best Model Competition.
As one of the three widely recognized world modeling contests, World Best Model Competition was held once annually since being started in 1988.
Chinese models have won titles such as best Asian models and best performance at previous world finals of the competition.
