Withdrawal Welcomed
In Beijing, Zhang Qiyue, spokeswoman of Foreign Ministry of China, said at a regular news briefing that China welcomes all measures contributing to the easing of tensions between the two countries.

As a common friend of India and Pakistan, China has always hoped that the two countries will resume direct dialogue as soon as possible and resolve their existing disputes through peaceful means, Zhang said.
