China Still Studying Iraq's Arms Declaration: Spokesman
China is still in the process of studying Iraq's declaration on weapons of mass destruction, which includes documents and compact discs, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said in Beijing Tuesday.

Liu said at a routine press conference that upon receiving Iraq 's arms dossier from the United Nations, China immediately set up an interdepartmental team to begin evaluating it.

Chinese experts in chemical and biological weapons, and in missile and nuclear fields were now working day and night on the report, he said.

He added that China also had invited Arabic language experts to assist with the evaluation.
