PLA Chief Meets Pakistani Guests
Liang Guanglie, Chief of General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), met in Beijing Monday with Shahid Aziz, Chief of General Staff of the Pakistan army.

Liang said China and Pakistan had successful exchanges and cooperation in the political, economic, military and cultural fields since the two countries established diplomatic ties.

He said China was satisfied with the all-round military ties with Pakistan.

Shahid said the Pakistani people were proud to be close friends of the Chinese people, and Pakistan would make further efforts to push forward relations between the two countries and the two armed forces.
