President Rudolf Schuster of the Slovak Federal Republic arrived here Saturday morning, starting a state visit to China as guest of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.
During the visit, Chinese leaders will exchange views with Schuster on bilateral relations and major international issues of common interest.
Schuster is scheduled to visit China's capital Beijing, Shanghai and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
This is Schuster's first visit to China since he took the presidency.
