Chinese FM to Attend UN Security Council Meeting on Iraq
Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan will attend the UN Security Council meeting on Iraq on Feb.14 to set forth China's position on the issue.

The council will listen to the reports by the United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on their weapons inspection in Iraq.

Tang will urge that the Iraq issue be settled within the UN framework through political means.
