Contemporary Israeli Design on Show in Beijing
An exhibition of contemporary Israeli design opened here Tuesday at Beijing Jintai Art Museum.

The show includes more than 30 works by 10 Israeli artists, most of which were household facilities made of high-tech materials.

Israeli ambassador Yehoyada Haim said both Israel and China had long histories and deep cultures. He hoped the exhibition would show the Chinese people modern art in Israel.

The exhibition, which ends on Mar. 6, will move to Shanghai in April.
