Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing met in Beijing Monday with British Minister for Higher Education Margaret Hodge, Chancellor of Oxford University Colin Lucas and chancellors of other three renowned British universities.
Hodge and the chancellors of the British universities are visiting China at the invitation of the Ministry of Education of China. During the visit, Hodge and Chinese Minister of Education Chen Zhili signed an agreement on mutual recognition of higher education certificates between the two countries.
