Former Japanese PM Delivers Speech on Sino-Japanese Relations
Former Japanese Prime Minister Hashimoto Ryutaro delivered a speech in Beijing Thursday on the importance of Sino-Japanese relations in the new era.

Ryutaro stated his views on the current Sino-Japanese relations and its prospects as well as the international and regional security situation.

Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Xiong Guangkai chaired the meeting.

Xiong is also President of the China Society for International Strategic Studies, which invited Ryutaro.
