Chinese Leaders Meet Montenegrin PM
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met in Beijing Monday with Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic of Serbia and Montenegro, exchanging views on China's ties with Serbia and Montenegro and its cooperation with Montenegro.

The same day, Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan also held talks with Milo Djukanovic.

Tang said China and Serbia-Montenegro have developed friendly and cooperative ties under the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, and non-interference in each other's internal affairs.

He said he appreciated that the two republics, Serbia and Montenegro, had dealt with mutual relations through negotiations.

China attached great importance to developing friendly ties and reciprocal cooperation in various sectors with the Republic of Montenegro, Tang said.

Djukanovic said Montenegro will continue to adhere to the "one-China" policy and enhance trade and economic cooperation with China.
