China to Work for Success of WTO Meeting in Cancun

China is ready to work with all sides at the 5th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization to make the meeting proceed with positive results, said Chinese Minister of Commerce Lu Fuyuan in Cancun, Mexico Thursday.

Lu, the head of the Chinese delegation to the meeting, made clear this stance of China in separate working talks with Pascal Lamy, trade commissioner of the European Union, and trade ministers from Singapore, Mexico, India and Trade Representative of the United States.

Lu said all sides should make contribution to a fair and just world economic environment.
