China-Japan-Korea Media Conference Begins

More than 80 senior media figures attended the first day of the China-Japan-Korea Media Cooperation Conference in Beijing Thursday.

The two-day conference, hosted by China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, aims to push forward exchange and cooperation between mainstream media outlets of the three countries.

Trilateral dialogue and exchange will stimulate more cooperation in the media industry, Xu Guangchun, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Central Committee, said in his opening remarks.

The delegates, most of whom are heads of their organizations, are scheduled to discuss media regulation policies, confidence building measures and commercial cooperation.
