An Israeli business delegation headed by Yehoyada Haim, ambassador of Israel to China, left Beijing Monday for a five-day visit to northeast China's Liaoning and Heilongjiang provinces.

During its stay in Liaoning on Nov. 3 and 4, the delegation will meet Governor Bo Xilai and other officials, visit the North East University Software Group, the Shenyang Agricultural Hi-tech Development Zone and other places, sources with the Israeli Embassy said.

The delegation will visit Heilongjiang from Nov. 5 to 7, where it will meet with Song Fatang, secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and other officials.

The delegation will also attend the opening ceremonies of the Heilongjiang-Israel Business Seminar and an exhibition on Jewry, visit the Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of Social Sciences and historical sites of the Jewish community in Harbin, including the Jewish Cemetery.

The delegation will seek cooperation with Chinese companies in agriculture, high technology, telecommunications and other fields and meet with local media in the two provinces.
