Clinton Show Travels to China

"Good Luck with This Project!" That's the only gift former
US President Bill Clinton left for his generous sponsor Tuesday in Beijing after a US$350,000 speech for a group of Chinese real estate developers.

The hottest speaker in the world has brought his oratory to China, winning the hearts of millions of ordinary Chinese by touching upon AIDS, education and Sino-US relations, and getting fat cheques from curious and peacockish financial donators, adding to his nearly US$10 million annual speech income.

At Beijing's St Regis Hotel, the charming President gave a brief 15-minute speech in English to over 200 Chinese VIPs on Tuesday. Given the language barrier, the speech quickly turned into a Clinton show, with dozens of business elites and government officials circling Bill for a one-on-one photo.

Without mentioning a single word of his real estate sponsor, diplomatic Clinton decided to write some encouraging words after the speech and a quick bottoms up.

Clinton's speech show will also bring him to Shanghai, and possibly other Chinese cities as there is clear demand for the former President of the United States.
