New China-Japan Air Route Opens

Travelers between Haikou, capital of island Hainan Province in south China, and Fukuoka of Japan will have more options as a new air route linking the two cities is scheduled to go into operation on Nov. 26.  

Boeing passenger planes of the China Southern Airlines will fly between the two cities via Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, on Wednesdays and Sundays, an official of the company said on Tuesday.

 

Passenger planes depart Haikou at 07:30 (local time) and arrive in Guangzhou at 08:35 (local time). Then they depart Guangzhou at 09:55 and arrive in Fukuoka at 13:20 (local time) the same day.

 

Passenger planes depart Fukuoka at 14:20 (local time) and arrive in Haikou at 19:15 (local time) after a one-hour-and-five-minute stopover in Guangzhou the same day.

 

Currently, China Southern Airlines operates two international air routes linking Haikou with Singapore and Bangkok.
