Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing held phone talks Monday with Algeria's Minister of State of Foreign Affairs, Abdelaziz Belkhadem.

The two sides exchanged views on implementing consensus reached by two heads of state during Chinese President Hu Jintao's Feb. 3-4 visit to Algeria and strengthening traditional friendship and cooperation.

Abdelaziz Belkhadem is attending a meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo.
