Michael Jordan in Beijing on 1st Leg of Asian Tour

US basketball legend Michael Jordan arrived in Beijing Tuesday to start a four-leg Asian tour.

Jordan, who guided the Chicago Bulls to six National Basketball Association titles, plans to stay two days in Beijing. He will then visit Hong Kong on May 21 and Taipei on May 22, before finishing his tour May 23 in Tokyo.

According to the organizers of the tour, Jordan will meet Yuan Weimin, minister of China's State General Administration of Sports on Wednesday morning and then will go to Dongdan Sports Center, where he will meet fans and media.

Jordan, 41, retired last year after a two-year NBA comeback with the Washington Wizards. His high-flying, uncanny shotmaking during his prime time with Chicago established him as one of the greatest in the sport.
