Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, left Beijing Saturday morning for an official good-will visit to Russia, Bulgaria, Denmark and Norway.

Wu's entourage includes his wife Zhang Ruizhen and other officials. He was invited by Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russian Federation Sergei Mironov and Chairman of Russian State Duma Boris Cryzlov, Chairman of Bulgarian National Assembly Ognyan Gerdjikov, President of Danish Parliament Christian Mejdahl, and President of Norwegian Parliament Jorgen A. Kosmo.
