Chinese, Hungarian Presidents Talk on Bilateral Cooperation

Visiting Chinese President Hu Jintao held talks with his Hungarian counterpart Madl Ferenc in Budapest on Thursday afternoon and exchanged views on expanding cooperation between the two countries.

The two leaders also discussed regional and global issues in the talks.

China and Hungary are expected to sign a series of documents on bilateral cooperation later in the day.

Hu, who arrived here hours ago from Poland, is scheduled to leave on Saturday for Romania, the third leg of his four-nation trip.

He will also pay a state visit to Uzbekistan and attend a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization there on June 17.
