Wang Yi to Head Chinese Delegation to Attend Six-party Talks

Chinese Vice-Foreign Minister Wang Yi will head the Chinese delegation to attend the six-party talks scheduled to begin on Aug. 27 in Beijing, announced Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan Thursday.

Kong said the other five delegations to the talks would be headed by Kim Yong il, Democratic People's Republic of Korea deputy foreign minister, James Kelly, assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific Affairs of the United States, Alexander Losiukov, Russian deputy foreign minister, Lee Soo-Hyuck, Republic of Korea deputy minister of foreign affairs and trade, and Mitoji Yabunaka, director-general for Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Foreign Ministry of Japan.
