The 2003 Shanghai Pudong World Carnival will run from September 12 to October 26, and the total space for the fun fair will increase to 47,000 square meters from 35,000 square meters.

An all-glass music center, which will replace the former Beast House, will be built to host shows by noted pop singers and will seat about 600 people.

Operating hours for the carnival will also be extended this autumn.
