Travelers in Hangzhou City will be able to take free tours around the scenic West Lake on an single-layer open bus in the following month beginning Oct 1, the first day of the seven-day National Day holiday, Hangzhou Public Transport Company said yesterday.

According to Hangzhou Public Transport Company, in the first three days of October, namely from Oct 1-3, only group ticket reservation are allowed.

The bus company said they will also distribute a certain number of free tickets to the public during the special event.

It is learnt that ten open sightseeing buses will arrive in Hangzhou on Sept 28.
