Coins Marking First Manned Spaceflight Issued

China's Central Bank will issue a set of gold and silver coins on Monday to commemorate the country's first manned space flight. 

The set includes one gold coin and one silver coin, featuring the solar system and China's first astronaut Yang Liwei.

 

The face value of the gold coin is 150 yuan or close to US$18 and the silver one, ten yuan or US$1.2.

 

The bank plans to issue 30,000 gold coins and 60,000 silver coins.
