The media center for the upcoming 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) will start operation on Monday.

The center, based in Beijing's Media Center Hotel, will handle credentials and applications of correspondents from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and foreign journalists for covering the congress.

The center will also help arrange coverage of activities related to the congress and provide related services.
