Twenty-six companies were found to be violating the labor rights of employees in the first three days of a citywide labor inspection campaign, the Shanghai General Team of Labor Inspection announced yesterday.

Half of the violators were found illegally extending employees' working hours and six delayed employees' payment for overtime work.
