Olympic venue constructors enjoy music performance

Tasting a piece of the Moon-cake given by volunteer artists and the staff the Beijing TV Station, the constructors of the Beijing Olympic Games gathered on the construction site to enjoy a music performance on Sunday.

 

 

Beijing Jiaotong University students perform a street dance

 

The curtain was raised with a street dance of Beijing Jiaotong University students and the song I Am a Star from students of Peking Univeristy. Famous singers Wu Sikai, Dong Liping and many others offered their masterpieces.

 

Zhai Shusen, a cameraman of the Beijing TV Station made a documentary film on blessings for the Olympics from Olympic project constructors' fellow countrymen. Watching the film, the workers were touched and some of theme expressed their readiness to make every effort for the delivery of quality Olympic projects.

The audiences also displayed their talent by singing songs or performing traditional clapper talks.

 

The audiences were members of the "Beijing Young Shock Brigades." The 212 brigades are working on the sites of various Olympic venues and related facilities, including the National Stadium ("Bird's Nest") and the National Aquatics Center ("Water Cube"). They also are taking part in the construction of a number of subway lines and the new terminal building of the Capital International Airport.
