Olympic Chinese Zodiac animals stamps issued

Officials from the Organizing Committee for the Beijing Olympic Games, the China Central Academy of Fine Arts and the China National Philatelic Corporation unveiled the set of stamps on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 in Beijing.

The Organizing Committee for the Beijing Olympic Games (BOCOG) authorized the China Central Academy of Fine Arts to design a set of stamps combining twelve Chinese animal signs and the Olympic Games. Designers combined each letter of "Olympic Games" with 12 animals of Chinese Zodiac. There are a stamp book and an introduction book for the newly issued stamps.

The introduction book for the newly issued Olympic animal stamps is unveiled on Tuesday, December 25, 2007.
