Cars form Olympic rings in Beijing
Adjust font size:

Auto fans in Beijing formed the Olympic Rings with hundreds of cars and made up the figure 2008 themselves on New Year's Day to welcome the 2008 Olympics.

Website sina.com reported that more than 400 cars of five colors similar to the Olympic Rings, blue, black, red, yellow and green, were driven to a square north to the Beijing International Sculpture Park to form the Olympic logo.

The fans then stood with red umbrellas to form the figure 2008.

The participants hoped to show their welcome of the Olympics through this activity.

The activity also broke the Guinness World Record set by Shenzhen radio station by forming Olympic rings with 139 cars.
