A web contest titled 'Cyber-literature Award' has been launched both on China's Mainland and in China's Taiwan Province.

Shantou University Press, Publishing house of Taiwan Business Weekly Media Group, as well as famous web medium Tom.com is sponsoring the activity.

Online writers along both sides of the Strait are encouraged to write original love stories to win the highest prize of 100,000 yuan, or about US$12,000.
