A cigarette-lookalike, but not really tobacco, called "Ruyan Atomizing Nicotine Inhaler" has been launched Friday to help control and quit tobacco addiction. Relevant health experts said this "cigarette" is currently China's, only realized healthy high-tech "smoke" and can be viewed as a revolution in safe smoking.
In the "Results of Smoking Control Forum" held in Beijing Friday, the Beijing SBT RUYAN Technology & Development Corporation's technical exhibition displayed its soon-to-market tobacco-control product "Ruyan Atomizing Nicotine Inhaler–RUYAN@ ANI." The product includes modern microelectronic control technology, bio-science techniques and concepts of healthy living and follows the World Health Organization's recommended Nicotine substitutes to avoid the dangerous chemicals in ordinary tobacco. It mimics the smoking routine and suits the deep psychological dependency of smokers and does not produce "second hand" smoke, does not pollute the environment, with no ignition and no fire hazard. This safe technology has been awarded a patent in China.
Experts believe that the wide promotion of this "smoke" will help thousands of smokers to realize health control and healthy smoke cessation, while at the same time controlling and reducing tobacco's pollution of the environment to a certain extent.
Sources said this "smoke" will be introduced to important international markets in North America, Europe and South East Asia.
