Chinese to Fly in Domestic Feeder Planes by 2009

ARJ21 currently under research and development is China's first advanced feeder plane with complete independent intellectual property right, and Chinese passengers will fly in this domestic feeder plane by 2009. ARJ21 feeder plane has started all-round trial production recently.

ARJ feeder plane is the mutual fruit of the First Aircraft Institute of the China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I) and Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute (SADRI).

It is reported that ARJ21 feeder plane will take its maiden flight in 2008, and in the next year, Chinese people will fly in this domestic feeder plane.

Not long ago, China's first aviation high-tech industry base was founded in Yanliang, Shaanxi province. Innovation is pushing China toward an aviation power.
