An exhibition in Beijing titled Exploring Paradise of Health, Life and Science uses huge models of body parts to get children to start learning about the human body, the People's Daily reported Tuesday.

Children play on a slide that resembles a large intestine and can jump in a bumpy bed resembling the stomach.

The paper notes that hi-tech audio-visual systems provide children with the relevant knowledge while the large-scale models displayed in 18 exhibition halls provide the fun.

"I like the exhibition very much since its more interesting than exhibitions that only have pictures or videos," said a teenager surnamed Wang.

Currently, many Chinese youngsters lack a healthy lifestyle as they have little knowledge of physiological, said Hu Yamei, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Nearly 80 percent of youngsters have tooth decay, Hu said, adding that the number of obese kids doubles every five years while more and more youth are addicted to smoking or are having sex act at an earlier age.

How to make education of health acceptable to children is a topic studied by the whole world.

The exhibition jointly organized by the China Youth Foundation and Beijing Red Cross will also be on display in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo after the exhibition completes its 18 city tour in China.
