Antarctic Research Team Heads Home

The 22nd Chinese Antarctic Research Team, aboard the polar research vessel Xue Long, left the Zhongshan Station on February 26 for home.

The Chinese scientists have fulfilled lots of scientific research work during their summer expedition, supplying and cleaning up the Zhongshan station.

Scientists researched a variety of species of water-dwelling plants and animals around the continent, surveyed the Grove Mountain, and collected kilograms of aerolites during the mission.

The research team is expected to arrive in Shanghai on March 28 as scheduled.
