Beijing Olympic Broadcasting Co., ltd (BOB) and Panasonic (Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.) officially signed a contract on Monday to telebroadcast the games of best quality.

As the upstage sponsor, Panasonic will offer the most advanced high clarity television broadcasting facility for the 29th Summer Olympic Games to be held in 2008 in Beijing, meanwhile Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will become the first sports events fully adopting high clarity techniques. This was leant from the press conference conducted by Panasonic China on June 10.

It has been introduced that this is the eighth time Panasonic has offered broadcasting service for Olympic Games, the last Summer Olympic and Winter Olympic both deployed high clarity technology in some parts of their television broadcasting.
