First China-made Luxury Cruise Liner on Maiden Voyage
The first super-luxury ocean liner made in China has set sail from Guangzhou bound for Sweden on its maiden voyage.

The floating five-star hotel is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances such as satellite telephones, an off-shore emergency evacuation system and helicopter pads.

Two of the luxury ship's 11 decks are for car parking, each of the 800-meter parking lots can hold up to 400 cars.

In the past, only a few European countries were able to make such sophisticated, high-end ocean liners. The launch of this cruise ship puts China among the world elite of shipbuilders.
