SIPO Grants Awards for Outstanding Patents

The State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) granted Thursday awards to a cell rehabilitation technology and 12 other patented technologies.

The awards for outstanding Chinese patents were also recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Meanwhile, the SIPO granted second-level awards to a manufacturing technology patent for a new kind of firebrick and another 93 inventions, new technological applications and new designs.

Those winners were chosen from many patented technologies recommended by government departments, research institutes, and regions, as well as experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The SIPO set up an expert panel for appraisal and final selection.

China patent awards are granted in every two years.
