Lenovo to Produce Linux-based PCs

China's largest PC maker Lenovo Group has announced it will launch two Linux-based business computers in China.

The two models, Kaitian M 4600 and Qitian M 2000, will be installed with the Red Flag Linux operating system and will become the first two domestic made Linux PCs.

Recently, China has made regulations to promote the Linux operating system within domestic enterprises.

International PC vendors like Dell, Hewlett-Packard and IBM have also expressed their interest in launching Linux-based computers in China.
