Shanghai has made public 88.3 percent of its water information on the Internet, according to Shanghai's municipal water resources bureau. The bureau has sorted out 298 pieces of information on local water resources, covering the water supply, water drainage, rain disposal and water saving categories, and made public 263 pieces of them. Shanghai residents could check out the quality of their running water, know about the cut in water supply ahead of time and the like.
