The world's largest super- carrier CSCL-Asia prepares to set out on its maiden voyage from Hong Kong, which has a capacity of approximately 8,500 TEUs. 

The CSCL-Asia was the first of five 8,500 TEU container vessels the China Shipping Container Lines company has ordered, along with eight 9,600 TEU mega vessels that would start operating in the next few years.

CSCL has registered the super-carrier with the Hong Kong Shipping Register.
