The Hong Kong tourism authority is making great efforts to attract mainland tourists, with the "Hong Kong Shopping Festival" launched last weekend, Nanfang Metropolis reports.

Set to run to the end of August, the festival features various commodities sales with attractive discounts, including jewelry, fashion clothes and cosmetics.

A "Kids' Party" will take place in Ocean Park, as part of the festival specially for kids, with exciting but safe amusement facilities.
