Nanjing Introduces First Gourmet Map

A map for gourmets showing specialist local restaurants is to be issued in Nanjing, reports the Jiangsu-based Modern Express.

The first of its kind in the nation, the map shows the location of 100-plus restaurants in an otherwise normal street map of the city.

On the back page the specialties they offer are categorized and indexed along with exact addresses and contact details.

It has taken the provincial survey bureau five months to complete the map.
