Britain becomes one of Chinese tourists' destination countries since a Tourism Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Friday. Chinese tourists can go to 91 countries. 

The agreements were signed by He Guangwei, the Director of China's National Tourism Administration and British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw.

So far, all of the 25 member nations of the European Union are destination countries of Chinese tourists. Chinese tourists can go to 91 countries, of which 63 are currently visited.

China has one of the world's fastest-growing markets for foreign tourism. In the past year, Chinese people went on 28.5 million visits abroad, 40 percent more than in 2003.

To be an official tourist destination country means that package tours to that region are available to Chinese.
