Magnetic Train to Beijing Airport by 2008

By the year of 2008, passengers can take an electric magnetic train from Dongzhimen in eastern Beijing to the Beijing International Airport in about 15 minutes.

 

The length of the railway is 27 kilometers. It starts from Dongzhimen subway station, and the speed of the train can reach 100 kilometers an hour.

 

The construction project is expected to be started this year and will take three years to be completed.
