Sino-EU Talks on Opening Aviation Market Urged

The European Commission has proposed that the EU Council of Ministers should immediately authorize the EU to begin negotiations with China on liberalization of the aviation market.

In order to strengthen Sino-EU cooperation in aviation, a Sino-EU aviation summit will be held in Beijing in June this year.

The European media believe that China will become the largest Asian aviation market in the next 10 years.

The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo will boost the development of a highly efficient and modern aviation industry in China.
