Songshan Scenic Spot Raises Entry Fee

This adjustment is not simply a price increase, but part of a larger project of tourist resource integration.

After the price increase, the scenic spot's total area will be increased from 78 hectares to 280 hectares.

Sanhuangzhai Scenic Spot, which condenses Songshan's world geologic park landscape will be added to existing spots, such as the Shaolin Temple, Pagoda Forest, Ancestor's Monastery, Second Ancestor's Monastery and Dharma Cave. Shaolin martial art performances, which now require an extra fee, will become free.

This new price adjustment will be implemented on May 10th. However, its implementation for domestic tourist groups organized by travel agencies will be delayed by one month, and three months for international tourist groups. Songshan Scenic Spot is famous both at home and abroad, and receives over one million domestic and foreign tourists every year.
