China Southern Airlines has reached an agreement with Sale Ireland Ltd. to lease five planes for a period of 12 years. The airline issued a statement in the China Securities Journal on Monday saying it will lease the planes beginning in early 2006. 

The delivery of the five Airbus A320-200s will begin between February and May of next year.

The company didn't give details on the value of the deal.
