Air ticket levies to rise
Adjust font size:

Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd, Hong Kong's largest airline, will raise its ticket surcharges for the third time this year because of higher fuel prices.

Short-haul levies will climb to HK$113 (US$14.50) each way from HK$104 and long-haul surcharges will rise to HK$466 from HK$428, starting Saturday, Hong Kong's Civil Aviation Department said on its Website yesterday. The carrier's Hong Kong Dragon Airlines unit will raise surcharges to HK$113 from HK$104.
