First int'l Chinese antique fair to be held in Beijing

From November 30th to December 4th, the first Beijing International Chinese Antique Fair (BICAF) will be held in the Golden Hall of Beijing Hotel. The antiques cover bronzes, Chinese porcelains, lacquer wares, iron wares, champleve enamel ware, jade articles, silk and other kinds.

 

During the fair, collectors from different countries and regions will present their precious Chinese antiques. Famous foreign collectors include Christopher Bruckner (British), Laurence Paul (British), Cedrien Curien (French) and Mehmet Hassan (Thais) will bring along their treasures. People can have the chance to appreciate many dispersed Chinese heritage. This Chinese antique fair is the grandest in the world in recent years.

 

To ensure the order of the fair and the security of the antiques, people should make reservations by telephone, and buy the tickets at your appointed time in Zhihua Temple (智化寺). From 10:00 to 16:00 (Dec. 1st-4th), 300 tickets are available at a price of CNY 200 for each day. Telephone: 010-65258628, 010-65258638.

Opening hours: 10:00-18:30 (Nov. 30th-Dec. 4th)

Venue: Building C, Golden Hall, Beijing Hotel

 

Zhihua Temple:

 Location: No.5, Lumicang Hutong (禄米仓胡同), Dongcheng District

 Bus No.208, 44 Da (44), 44 Xiao (44), 750, 800 Nei (800), 800 Wai (800), 810 or Te 2 (2) to Yabao Lu (雅宝路), and then walk to the temple.

 

Beijing Hotel:

Location: No.33, Dong Chang'an Jie (东长安街), Dongcheng District

 Bus No.103, 104, 104 Kuai (104), 201, 211, 420, 803 to Wangfujing Lukou Bei (王府井路口北), and then walk to Beijing Hotel .

or bus No.10, 20, 37, 41, 59, 120, 126, 203, 205, 802 to Wangfujing (王府井), and then walk to Beijing Hotel.
